Adam Toras Leads Buccaneers in Senior Season
This Fall marks the final season for Adam Toras, a senior and Captain of the Christian Brothers University soccer team in Memphis, Tennessee. Adam is a 2009 graduate of Rummel High School and majors in finance at Christian Brothers. He has led his team on a red hot four game winning streak having been moved from midfield to forward. Adam has scored a goal or an assist in the last four games as the Buccaneers have improved their record to 7-5-1.
Adam, who was Captain last year led his team to a conference championship in the Gulf Coast Conference. Christian Brothers plays in a highly competitive Division ІІ conference which includes other schools such as West Florida, West Alabama and Union University.
Playing for 91 Lafreniere/Chicago Fire, Adam was a member of four state championship teams. In high school, he was All District and All Metro his senior year playing primarily as a striker. The Buccaneers, have qualified for the conference tournament in each of the past three years and are expected to do so this year. The Division ІІ NCAA Championship will be hosted by Augusta State University at Blanchard Woods Park in Evans, Georgia on November 29 and December 1, 2012. Adam is the son of Eleni and Nickolas Toras who reside in Metairie, Louisiana.
