New Orleans, LA – Louisiana Fire Soccer Club is one of the largest non- profit youth soccer clubs on the Gulf Coast.  As part of a club fundraiser, Louisiana Fire is proud to announce that it will host the first annual Louisiana Fire Champions Cup Festival.  The festival concludes with a professional soccer match between the Chicago Fire, one time Major League Soccer Champions and four time U.S. Open Cup Champion, and Club Deportivo Real Espana, the ten time Honduran National League Champion, on Saturday, February, 4, 2012 at Tad Gormley Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The entire Gulf Coast soccer community is looking forward to this exciting soccer match.  Both professional teams, Chicago Fire and Real Espana, have committed to bringing their full squads to square off in this Champions Cup Final.  “The opportunity to host this type of soccer match is one which gives our club the opportunity to promote the highest level of professional soccer in New Orleans and have a successful fund raiser for the club”, said President of the Louisiana Fire Soccer Club, Jeff Brignac.

Louisiana Fire Soccer Club is excited to hold this international exhibition match at Tad Gormley Stadium.  Tad Gormley Stadium is a 26,500 permanent seat facility with turf grass, three locker rooms, a press box, a press suite, and an electronic scoreboard and sound system.  Before the soccer match thousands of people will gather outside the stadium to enjoy the pre-match festival which will include American and Latin bands, DJs and booths with a variety of food and souvenirs.

Louisiana Fire Soccer Club will use all proceeds from the Louisiana Fire Champions Cup Festival for player scholarships and improvement of soccer fields and facilities.  For more information on event or ticket sales, contact Julio Paiz at 504-465-8224.

There is an opportunity for teams to raise money by selling signage/sponsorship opportunities:

1) Field number sign for each of our large fields.  $2500(only sold as part of a $5000 package until further notice, 14 potential)
2) Signs on existing fences or wherever allowed. $1500 (estimated 100 plus potential)
3) Signage on Tournament Scoreboard $500 (about 20 potential)
4) Website links to their company website on our website $500 (unlimited)

These costs are all for one year and would be renewed annually. Each team will receive 1/2 of the net proceeds(after cost of sign and installation)and the club will receive the other 1/2.

Bryon Hatrel will help teams who provide him qualified leads to sell their ads. He will follow up on all "qualified leads" and if he sells the sponsorship ad the team will still receive their 1/2 interest. A "qualified lead" is completely filling out the sponsorship form with all contact information and the name of a person who has already agreed to speak him about the sponsorship program.
